Location: New York NY 10016 (Hybrid)
Duration: Long Term Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a Certified IAM Product Owner with strong experience in Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) and prior hands-on product ownership in Identity & Access Management domains. The ideal candidate will combine CIAM expertise Agile Product Ownership and strong stakeholder collaboration skills to drive digital identity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the Product Owner for IAM/CIAM initiatives owning the product roadmap backlog and delivery outcomes.

Develop product vision strategy and backlog aligned with business and security objectives.

Create clear concise user stories acceptance criteria and functional requirements.

Partner with engineering security architecture and business teams to plan and deliver high-value product increments.

Prioritize features based on risk business value compliance needs and technical dependencies.

Lead Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming sprint planning and sprint reviews.

Ensure CIAM best practices across authentication authorization MFA SSO identity lifecycle and governance.

Drive enhancements to CIAM platforms (e.g. Okta Azure Ping ForgeRock SailPoint IBM Security Verify).

Monitor KPIs customer impact feature adoption and continuously optimize product performance.

Ensure strong compliance alignment (identity security access policies IAM controls audit readiness).

Must-Have

CIAM Certification (Okta ForgeRock Ping Azure AD B2C/Entra SailPoint IBM etc.).

3 5 years experience as a Product Owner in Identity & Access Management or CIAM.

Strong understanding of IAM/CIAM principles:

Authentication Authorization

SSO & MFA

Identity Lifecycle Management

IGA (Identity Governance & Administration)

Access Management

Solid experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Experience working cross-functionally with engineering security and business stakeholders.
