Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals
- Provide patient education and counseling
- Manage acute and chronic health conditions effectively
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
- Adhere to best practices and comply with healthcare regulations
Requirements
- Current NP or PA licensure in the state of practice
- Associate degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- Experience in Internal Medicine or Hospitalist settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
Schedule: 2p-12:30a 6p-4:30a or 12p-12a
Patient Volume: 20-25 admissions per night
Duties: Admissions and cross-cover for acute issues on the floor
Support Staff: MD on call APPs
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Paid travel & expenses
