Description
As a Locum MD you will be responsible for providing high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients ensuring their health and well-being. You will play a critical role in a collaborative environment working alongside other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and support the communitys needs
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct patient examinations assessments and diagnoses
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
- Perform necessary medical procedures and surgeries as required
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records for all patients
- Educate patients on health management and preventive care
- Participate in patient consultations and follow-up care
- Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and standards
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license to practice in the state
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Ob/Gyn
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in womens health
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
1:4 weeknight and weekend beeper call rotation
Annual Volume: 250 deliveries
Daily Clinic Volume: 12-14 patients
Support Staff: Midwives
Must be board-certified
