- Oversee the full recruitment process including job postings candidate sourcing screening interviews selection onboarding and probation confirmation.
Employee Relation Welfare & Benefits
- Handle employee relations welfare activities engagement initiatives and internal communication to cultivate a positive workplace culture.
- Attend to employee issues and feedback to help maintain strong morale and productivity.
- Manage staff benefits and insurance matters (medical Group PA) while working closely with insurance providers for enrolments renewals and claims and ensure employees receive accurate and timely information regarding their benefits.
Training & Development
- Assess training needs through performance evaluations and discussions with management.
- Design coordinate and execute training initiatives to strengthen employee skills and capabilities.
- Oversee HRDC applications claims and training documentation to ensure full compliance with HRDC regulations.
SOP Policies & Process Improvement
- Review refine and optimise company-wide and departmental SOPs and workflows to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure all SOPs and policies are aligned with business goals ISO requirements and relevant regulations.
- Share updated procedures with the respective teams and track implementation to ensure effectiveness.
ISO Maintenance & Certification
- Manage ISO documentation audit readiness compliance tracking and ongoing certification requirements.
- Facilitate internal and external audit activities to maintain consistent ISO compliance.
- Track corrective actions and support continuous improvement efforts.
Employee Handbook & HR Policies
- Review and revise the Employee Handbook and HR policies to ensure alignment with labour regulations and communicate updates clearly to all employees.
Industrial Relations Disciplinary & Grievance Handling
- Manage employee disputes complaints grievances and disciplinary cases in compliance with labour legislation and internal guidelines.
- Carry out investigations draft show-cause letters and arrange disciplinary hearings as required.
HR Documentation & Communication
- Maintain employee records HR documentation contracts letters and ISO-related files.
- Prepare HR reports and manage internal communication regarding HR policies and updates.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication of HR policies changes and employee-related matters across the organisation.
- Support ad hoc HR duties and assist with special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience with solid exposure to recruitment employee relations and HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws HR best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with ISO standards audits and documentation is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proactive resourceful and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
