Job Description

Summary

Join a mission-driven educational setting focused on empowering students with emotional and behavioral challenges. This role supports middle and high school students with moderate disabilities using a science-based curriculum in a therapeutic trauma-informed school environment. Youll be part of a collaborative team deeply committed to academic growth and emotional support.

What You’ll Do

Teach science-based content aligned with state standards to students in grades 5–12 with moderate disabilities
Develop and implement IEPs with input from families and clinical teams
Use differentiated data-informed instructional methods to meet a wide range of learning needs
Support students with behavioral and emotional regulation within a structured supportive classroom environment
Collaborate with teaching teams clinicians and support staff to create a safe inclusive space
Engage in school events team meetings and professional development

Experience You’ll Need

Active Massachusetts teaching license in Moderate Disabilities 5–12
Experience teaching middle and/or high school students
Comfort with math curriculum delivery in special education settings
Background working with students with emotional or behavioral challenges
Strong collaboration skills and commitment to trauma-informed educational practices
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree a plus
