Who are we looking for
Our Central Region Environmental businesses in Plainwell MI is looking for aSenior Environmental Engineer Geologist or Scientistto join their this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to the future of our Contamination Assessment & Remediation service line through the coordination and implementation of a wide range of environmental solutions and projects.
Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Preparation of technical correspondence project proposals reports work plans and project specifications
- Interpretation/evaluation of environmental regulations
- Data compilation reduction and interpretation
- Management of clients
- Development of business opportunities
- Mentorship of staff
What you will bring to the Team
- Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Environmental Engineering Geology Environmental Science or related field
- 10 years of experience in environmental consulting including environmental remediation and site assessments report writing data management & interpretation project coordination and managing clients
- Project experience with CERCLA is beneficial
- Experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a consulting environment is required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
- Ability work in a fast-paced environment
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification a plus

- Paid time off Our PTO benefit is designed to provide eligible employees with a period of rest and relaxation sick and personal time throughout the year. PTO starts at 16 days per year and increases with years of service/experience.
- Holiday Pay - Holiday pay is provided for eligible employees. GHD observes 9 holidays per year. Holiday pay will be based on the regular set schedule for the employee
