As our Property Manager you will be a key member of Olive Trees leadership team and contribute to the quality of life of our residents by ensuring buildings and property assets are well maintained (and compliant) through proactive management of our maintenance schedule contractors and property team members.
Your strong maintenance or trade background will ensure you understand Health & Safety and regulatory compliance requirements can manage long-term and service maintenance plans and lead and encourage your team (and contractors) in their day-to-day planned and unplanned maintenance work on time and on budget.
Variety is guaranteed as each day will see you interacting with our residents - and collaborating with other teams within our community - to ensure our residents live life their way.
Each role is a permanent full time opportunity working across Monday - Friday although there may be an occasional requirement to be available on evenings or weekends.
Qualifications :

- Over two years experience in a similar role with team leadership responsibilities in a large site with complex requirements.
- Experience in the general maintenance of built environments machinery and equipment (ideally within healthcare or similar industry).
- Strong people skills with the ability to build a quick rapport and maintain strong partnerships with a wide range of people and stakeholders.
- Experience in managing direct reports and subcontractors and a clear ability to ensure work undertaken meets the required standards and time-frames.
- Conversant with building code compliance requirements and building services such as electrical fire lifts HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and problem solving ability.
- Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office suite and other property systems.
- Comfortable working with numbers managing finances and making good business data-driven decisions.
- A full clean NZ Drivers License and site safe passport.
