Job Summary

  • Ensure and develop the business with the Chinese OEMs in EMEA in order to achieve best profits
  • Participate/prepare RFQs (request for quotation) in close coordination with the Global Account Managers as well as with the Business Director Renault and Asian OEMs in order to ensure the business for the following years
  • Develop the annual budget and the monthly forecasts (for volume and prices by article) and ensure the implementation
  • Ensure correct payment for products supplied (overdues)
  • Develop the OEMs in compliance with the strategy of Global Original Equipment Steering (GOES) and the strategy of the BA Tires EMEA in order to ensure a long-term technologically leading partnership
  • Represent Continental AG on customer events and care for the OEM on Continental events
  • Support the decision for the right Target Approvals as basis for a sustainable and profitable business
  • Technical support for HMETC (Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center in Rüsselsheim) e.g. alignment on new regulations future requirements etc.
  • Support Customer Service at vehicle launch with information and first tire volume organized through ETO build
  • Leading (diciplinary and or functional) a highly educated team of Autmotive Engineers and Product Development Engineers for the a.m. customer/s
  • Functionally leading the Customer Service teams
  • Develop and implement long-term strategies for and with a.m. customer/s to ensure a sustainable strategic partnership
  • Support business with customer/s in other regions (APAC and The Americas)
  • Close alignment of the business activities in EMEA with the GKAMs for the Chinese OEMs
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and quality performance according to agreed internal and external requirements
  • Ensure the identification support negotiation (with OEM) and correct implementation of all relevant Customer Specific Requirements
  • Ensure optimized yield management for articles in serial production for the customer(s)
  • Develop and implement sustainability strategy in the business with the customer(s) in accordance with the sustainability strategy of the Business Area Tires
  • Ensure compliance with the customer requirements and regulations (for example sustainability)

Qualifications :

  • University degree (Bachelor/Master/PhD) in Industrial Engineering/Business Engineering or similar
  • Very good Chinese and English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Several years experience in tire development and/or Automotive Engineering
  • Experience in handling quality matters
  • Experience as Account or Sub-Account Manager
  • At least 1 successfully completed project lead preferably with an international focus
  • Several years of project management experience
  • International work experience and/or work experience in an intercultural environment for several years
