Job Summary

The Manager VAS GTM and Strategy for CEMEA will be accountable in supporting the grow of Visas Value Added Services revenue by making these Products easy to buy and easy to sell.  Role accountabilities will support and help manage the next generation of VAS which further extend Visas relevance beyond our traditional payments and processing relationships. This includes developing and implementing comprehensive regional GTM pricing targets at sales channels and ensuring products align to regional client needs and are supported by ample training tools and documentation.

This role reports primarily to the Head of VAS GTM and Commercialization.  Success will require to partner collaborate and influence many functions across a matrixed organization (e.g. Sales Product Marketing Finance and Global VAS teams).  This requires organizational savvy and strong interpersonal skills.

To succeed this role should have real hands-on experience managing sales pipeline introducing new products and pricing through both direct and indirect Sales channels.  She or he should have a commercial mindset as the goal of regional GTM and Commercialization is to accelerate the VAS 2030 Strategy.  They should be an out of the box thinker with a proven track record of success in fast-paced environments with demanding timelines and be equally comfortable interacting with executives and junior team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Deployment. Support the implementation and go-to-market for the 2030 strategy that aligns with the companys global goals and objectives. Oversee multiple workstreams and project delivery meeting objectives and timelines while managing complex project structures. Ensure that key initiatives align to local and regional client needs are clearly positioned solutions are appropriately priced for target sales channels and have an effective sales narrative.
  • Market Research. Execute in-region market research and competitive benchmarking for current and future VAS products. Gather and document regional client feedback including a formal insights program and measurement of NPS scores to help Regional and Global Product leaders manage roadmaps.
  • Financial Management. Support the management of successful metrics transaction growth market share client success expense management and other related Key Performance Indicators as agreed to and in the Visa Annual Operating Plan and Multi-year Strategic Outlook
  • Partnerships. Works in partnership with the VAS BPO and Corporate Strategy and Corporate Development teams to build strategic partnerships and content to influence align with and adapt functional and divisional acquisition opportunities.
  • Performance Tracking and Management. Closely monitor OKRs tied to Sales motions and Product performance and drive continuous improvements to messaging Sales training documentation localized delivery pricing marketing etc. Continually refine and optimize the regional go-to-market strategy commercialization process and sales enablement programs based on performance data market research and customer feedback.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration. Act as the internal client for and orchestrate activity among regional and global functions (Marketing Sales Enablement Finance) defining actions required to make Visa VAS products consistently easy to sell and buy. Maintain close collaboration with other GTM teams to ensure consistent application of best practices in region.
  • Governance and Process Optimization. Manage a formal governance process to ensure commercialization pilot and delivery standards are met as Products evolve from central development to revenue-generating deployments with regional clients. Ensure we have consistent standards definitions and Key Performance Indicators to measure faster execution. Structure and solve business problems collaborating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on issues with far-reaching business impact

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.


Qualifications :

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • A proven track record of B2B product commercialization and delivery comfort working within matrixed ambiguous environments and deep understanding of one or more dimensions of the payment industry.
  • Experience in project management strategic advisory or related roles with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercializing new offerings products or services.
  • Exceptional analytical problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Advanced presentation skills with credibility when interacting with and presenting to senior management at Visa.
  • Solid knowledge and utilization of major GenAI solutions and tools paired with a general understanding of the emerging Generative and Agentic AI trends.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with inter-disciplinary groups and in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Passionate self-motivated results-oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
  • Fluent communicator with diplomatic skills to extract desired outcomes.
  • Results driven flexible and both internally and externally customer focused.
  • Bachelors degree in business Economics Engineering or related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
