Job Summary

POSITION:

 

Senior Associate reporting to Associate Director - Engineering will play an essential role in designing developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure. You will work closely with data scientists analysts and other stakeholders to ensure that our data systems are efficient reliable and capable of supporting complex analytical queries. Your role will involve a mix of hands-on technical work and strategic planning to support the organizations data needs.

 

To be successful as a Senior Data Engineer at Eversana you should have strong analytical skills and the ability to combine data from different sources. Data engineer skills include familiarity with several programming languages and learning machine methods.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest process and store clinical commercial and operational data using Python Airflow and AWS services (e.g. S3 Lambda Glue).
  • Assist in designing and optimizing data models and data warehouses using Snowflake.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure data quality availability and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g. GxP HIPAA).
  • Collaborate with data scientists analysts and business teams to understand data requirements and support reporting and analytics initiatives.
  • Contribute to the documentation of ETL processes data dictionaries and lineage tracking to support data governance.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in cloud data engineering and life sciences data management.

    REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology.
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and data manipulation.
  • Knowledge in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
  • Basic understanding of cloud services especially AWS (S3 Lambda Glue IAM).
  • Exposure to workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and familiarity with Snowflake or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced regulated environment.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

  • Masters or Bachelors degree in Engineering Technology or Computer Science
  • Proven experience (5 years) as a Data Engineer.

Qualifications :

 

  • Bachelors degree in engineering Technology or Computer Science
  • 5 years of relevant industry experience (Healthcare Pharmaceutical Consulting Enterprise level data-analytical solutions)
