We are seeking a high-energy ambitious and results-driven Data Scientist with strong work ethic and integrity to join the Taiwan SMAI OI (Operation Intelligence) team at Micron this role you will develop advanced manufacturing solutions that enhance Fab wafer output and tool efficiency ensuring delivery within project timelines.

You will collaborate with experienced Data Scientists Data Engineers Business Area Engineers and UX teams to identify key questions address challenges and improve existing tools. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing software programs algorithms and automated processes to cleanse integrate and analyze large datasets from multiple sources. This position offers significant opportunities for exploratory analysis and innovative solution development driving impactful improvements across Microns manufacturing operations.

Technical skills:

Proficiency in Python and at least one RDBMS (MSSQL Oracle or MySQL).
Familiarity with Big Data technologies and concepts (e.g. GCP BigQuery AlloyDB).
Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is a plus.
Knowledge of web development frameworks ( Core) is a plus.
Understanding of Agile practices Git Jenkins and DevOps principles.

Education:

Bachelors/ Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science Information Management Industrial Engineering Electrical
Engineering or equivalent programming experiences certifications will be considered.
