About the Role
We are seeking a Service Technician Apprentice to join our team. Once coming on board youll attend a 7-week paid training program held at our corporate office in Bloomington MN. This program will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for long-term success in the field.
What Youll Do
As a Service Technician Apprentice you will learn to:
- Maintain troubleshoot and repair a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment and appliances at customer locations
- Follow all safety policies and procedures including proper PPE use
- Use tools to diagnose and repair gas electrical water refrigeration and steam-powered equipment
- Identify common commercial kitchen and HVAC parts and understand basic electrical and related principles
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members regarding repairs and service status
- Utilize service software and communication tools to provide quality service
What We Need from You
- Mechanical Electrical HVAC or related background or experience
- A desire to learn and build a career in the commercial kitchen service industry
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Drivers license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards
- Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required
