Our agency is seeking a dedicated Web Application Developer to join our dynamic development team. You will be working on a large group of technical specialists across different areas and will be instrumental in designing and delivering critical web applications ensuring they meet the highest standards for performance security and digital accessibility. This role requires a full understanding of the modern web tech stack and a commitment to best-practice Agile delivery within a regulated environment.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

Development & Coding: Design develop test and deploy robust web applications using modern foundations.

Good understanding of cloud technologies applied to web development.

Build web applications that are secure fault tolerant scalable performant and cost optimised.

Strong front-end and back-end web development skills.

Implement secure coding practices and ensure all applications comply with government policies including mandated security protocols and authentication standards.

Embed principles from conception to launch ensuring all applications are usable by people of different business areas.

Integrate frontend services with backend APIs endpoints.

Actively participate in an Agile Scrum team performing code reviews contributing to documentation and working closely with UX designers and business analysts.

Actively transfer technical skills onto other team members.

Skills and experience:

Mandatory

Required (5Years of experience):

HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript.

.Net

REACT framework.

APIs

Containerising and deploying web applications into Kubernetes clusters.

AWS Cloud technology.

Web Apps Security.

DevOps

Desired: Experience building Web interfaces for GenAI Applications.

Required:

Proactively identify issues customer or technological needs and propose solution that may address them withing established organisational parameters.

Cloud Infrastructure and cybersecurity principles.

Experience in large organisations and large cloud deployments.

Highly developed problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Open minded and able to pivot to diverse technical work.

Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

Ability to translate feedback into actionable work items.

Strong relationship and team collaboration focus.

Able to build and maintain professional relationships with other teams and stakeholders.

Minimum tertiary level qualification in Computer Science Data Science Software Engineering Computer Engineering Information Technology.

Focus on introducing best practice and influencing others to adopt new methodologies.

Open to learn new skills and tools.

Able to work in a project and adhere to SCRUM frame

The preference for this role is for the candidate to have an existing security clearance however we will accept exceptional candidates with ability to obtain.
