Job Summary
Job title: Global Procurement Category Analyst 12 month Contract
Location: Mumbai

The role:
As a Procurement Category Analyst you will help drive our goals by:
- Conducting analyses on spend data/researching trends
- Assisting Global Category Lead / Global Strategic Sourcing & Supply Managers by conducting supply market research
- Updating key market indices
- Assisting in spend data analysis and financial analyses
- Comparing spend prices and performance across sectors and sites
- Assisting in preparing monthly procurement performance status reports
- Upholding internal and external policies regulations and law
- Liaising with procurement staff at all levels to support development of category plans
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
- Degree qualified (preferably finance business or engineering) and/ or experience in Automotive FMCG or Chemical procurement
- Experience of financial analysis product costing and/or engineering experience (research experience a plus)
- Familiarity with purchasing and supply chain
- Excellent analytical (particularly financial) skills and ability to bridge financial data
- Experience leading sizeable and geographically dispersed teams.
- Knowledge of products/services and associated processes
