Join Axpo Solar Italia a key player in the photovoltaic industry and part of the Axpo Group to drive the future of solar energy. As a Site Manager you will oversee the construction and commissioning of photovoltaic plants ensuring quality safety and compliance.
What you will do:
- Lead plan and coordinate all on-site activities during construction.
- Ensure compliance with internal HSEQ policies and safety regulations.
- Act as the primary contact between the company subcontractors and third parties.
- Oversee equipment delivery and verify adherence to local national and international regulations.
- Prepare weekly reports including construction progress inventory checklists and HSEQ updates.
- Manage commissioning processes and approve contractor and subcontractor work.
- Conduct conformity checks and ensure tests and trials are completed prior to project acceptance.
- Organize and participate in on-site meetings and contribute to process improvements.
- Report hazards and risks during the construction phase.
What you bring & who you are:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in site management or construction supervision.
- Excellent communication skills in Italian (fluent); English proficiency is a plus.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively and spend 100% of your time on-site.
- Valid driving license.
- Ideally experience in photovoltaic plant construction or renewable energy projects.
