About the Role
Teaching Music across KS3KS5 adapting to a range of abilities
Delivering both practical and theoretical lessons that build confidence and creativity
Directing or supporting musical ensembles choirs or instrumental groups
Preparing students for GCSE/A-Level performance and composition assessments
Contributing to a busy programme of concerts musicals and events
Inspiring students to explore new styles genres and musical techniques
Working in close collaboration with a passionate and friendly department
Experience and Qualifications
Degree in Music or a closely related field
PGCE and QTS (or equivalent)
Strong performance composition or conducting background
Ability to lead extra-curricular music activities confidently
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
