Clerk to School Board (Hollington Primary School)

experienced Head teacher and School Board are looking for a clerk to join them to support their school board. This role is part time and term time only at 40 weeks per year and 100 hours across those 40 weeks. The meetings are pre-arranged dates and other school board admin is required outside of attending meetings. We are currently working with two other schools within the St Leonards-on-Sea area of Hastings and there may be requirement to support with clerking for their governor services. This will be included within the 100 hours.

Key responsibilities include:

• Advise the governing board on governance procedural and constitutional matters in accordance with relevant legislation and statutory guidance such as the Governance handbook.

• Provide administrative support to the school board and its committees.

• Ensure the school board is correctly constituted.

• Effectively manage information in accordance with legal requirements.
