About the Role
Teaching Science across KS3KS4 with potential for KS5 depending on experience and department need
Planning and delivering engaging theory and practical lessons that stretch and support learners of all abilities
Leading safe well-organised practical investigations that encourage students to think like scientists
Supporting exam preparation through targeted revision sessions intervention programmes and effective feedback
Contributing to curriculum enhancement resource development and departmental improvement projects
Playing an active role in wider school life including STEM clubs enrichment days and trips where appropriate

Experience and Qualifications
Degree in a Science discipline (e.g. Biology Chemistry Physics or related field)
PGCE with QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching across the KS3KS4 Science curriculum
Excellent practical teaching skills and understanding of laboratory safety and risk assessment
Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues and to inspire interest in Science

Salary
MPS/UPS dependent on experience.
