Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and efficient Culinary Administrative Assistant to join our team in Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha this role you will provide crucial administrative support to our culinary department ensuring smooth operations and effective communication between kitchen staff management and external partners.

  • Manage and coordinate daily administrative tasks for the culinary department
  • Schedule meetings appointments and events for culinary staff and executives
  • Prepare and distribute memos correspondence and reports related to culinary operations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for recipes inventory and other culinary documents
  • Assist in menu planning and recipe management processes
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for ingredient orders and kitchen equipment
  • Support the development and implementation of culinary department policies and procedures
  • Act as a liaison between the culinary team and other departments within the organization
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating culinary events and special projects
  • Manage and track culinary department budgets and expenses

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in Business Administration Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • 2 years of administrative experience preferably in a culinary or hospitality setting
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated time management skills and attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of culinary terminology and kitchen operations
  • Familiarity with food service industry practices and standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities
  • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality
