Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Change & Release Manager to lead and mature the change management and release governance framework within a major banking environment.

The successful candidate will ensure that all IT changes are managed in a controlled auditable and efficient manner aligning with industry best practices and regulatory expectations.

You will play a key role in governing the end-to-end change and release lifecycle managing Change Advisory Boards (CABs) and driving automation standardization and transparency through effective frameworks templates and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the IT Change and Release Management function for a complex banking technology landscape.
  • Develop maintain and continuously improve the Change and Release Management Framework including SOPs templates KPIs and governance dashboards.
  • Plan coordinate and oversee all change activities to ensure smooth implementation with minimal business disruption.
  • Chair and manage Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings reviewing approving and prioritizing change requests.
  • Establish release governance coordinating with application infrastructure and project teams for controlled deployments.
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT governance policies audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT Operations Information Security and Business Units to ensure risk-free and well-communicated change releases.
  • Provide regular management reports and analytics on change success rates rollback trends and system availability impacts.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement automation and accountability in the change and release processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  • 10 years of professional experience in IT service management with a strong focus on change and release management.
  • Banking or Financial Services industry experience is mandatory.
  • Proven experience managing CABs and streamlining enterprise-level release processes.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing IT change management frameworks SOPs templates and performance dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL principles IT governance and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills including C-level interaction.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic language proficiency is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL v4 Expert PMP COBIT ISO 20000) are highly desirable.
