Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Inspector Instrumentation to oversee and ensure the quality of all instrumentation works within industrial oil & gas or construction projects. The role involves conducting inspections verifying installations reviewing documentation and ensuring compliance with project specifications international standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections for installation calibration testing and commissioning of instrumentation systems including transmitters control valves sensors PLC/DCS systems and field instruments.
Verify material certificates calibration reports and quality records to ensure conformity with project specifications and standards.
Prepare and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) specific to instrumentation activities.
Conduct incoming material inspections and ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements.
Review loop diagrams wiring diagrams and instrument datasheets for accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
Monitor installation activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings project specifications and international codes (ISA IEC ANSI).
Identify and document non-conformities raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with construction commissioning and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Maintain accurate daily inspection reports checklists and quality documentation.
Ensure all work adheres to health safety and environmental standards and project QA/QC procedures.
Essential Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Instrumentation Engineering Electrical & Electronics or related field.
Minimum 4 6 years of QA/QC experience in instrumentation within oil & gas EPC or industrial projects.
Knowledge of international codes and standards such as ISA IEC ANSI API and ISO.
Familiarity with instrumentation installation calibration and commissioning procedures.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of instrumentation QA/QC procedures and documentation.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs loop diagrams and wiring schematics.
Proficient in using testing and calibration equipment.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC reporting tools.
