Regional Inside Sales Leader International Higher Education (APAC)
Location: Flexible/Remote Singapore Australia.

At Pearson our mission is to help people realise the life they imagine through learning. As a Regional Inside Sales Leader for International Higher Education you will lead the regional Inside Sales function driving pipeline growth lead conversion in alignment with regional sales teams.

Reporting to the Global Inside Sales Leader for International Higher Education (IHE) the Regional Inside Sales Leader will run a scalable datadriven insidesales engine across regions. This is a senior Individual Contributor role responsible for driving endtoend lead generation lead development and inside sales execution. The remit includes delivering regional strategy and governance; integrating and managing BPO partners; owning KPIs/SLAs and review cadences; and ensuring seamless handoffs with Marketing and regional sales teams. You own forecasting and quota methodologies coach BPO teams to lift conversion speedtolead and pipeline contribution while safeguarding quality compliance and customer experience across both outsourced and inhouse teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the endtoend lead generation lead development and close support including standardised playbooks (inbound/outbound) segmentation coverage and role clarity in region.

  • Integrate and govern BPO partners. Work with the Revenue Operations division to select onboard and scale providers. Own SLAs & KPIs establish recurring reviews and ensure compliance brand voice and data integrity.

  • Own sales pipeline funnel health. Codify definitions scoring routing rules and handoffs; monitor conversion rates and cycle times; remove friction between stakeholder teams.

  • Forecast and drive pipeline contribution. Establish quota frameworks for inside sales run weekly pipeline inspections and deliver accurate forecasts tied to regional targets.

  • Develop scalable playbooks with BPO and inhouse teams. Design pilots measure results and industrialise best practices for longtail coverage seasonal surges and marketspecific outreach.

  • Manage onboarding of BPO staff. Define profiles interview rubrics onboarding and ongoing enablement (objection handling multichannel prospecting product demos) ensuring consistent global standards with local nuance.

  • Protect customer experience and compliance. Institute QA listening message governance and data/privacy controls across internal teams and vendors; resolve escalations and rootcause recurring issues.

  • Report impact and influence crossfunctional plans. Publish monthly exec readouts on pipeline contribution conversion CAC efficiency and insights; shape marketing campaigns pricing/tactics and field coverage based on signal from the funnel.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in inside sales at global or multiregional scale with experience managing outsourced teams.
  • Expertise in lead generation and lead development processes including inbound/outbound strategies and conversion optimisation.
  • Experience with Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) for sales or customer operations including governance and SLA management.
  • Strong commercial acumen and pipeline management skills with a track record of delivering measurable revenue contribution and accurate forecasting.
  • Operational excellence mindset with an ability to design scalable processes implement playbooks and drive continuous improvement across regions.
  • Technology fluency in CRM systems sales engagement tools and analytics dashboards; comfortable leveraging automation for efficiency.
  • Crossfunctional collaboration skills partnering effectively with Marketing Field Sales RevOps and Customer Success.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Expert in data analysis and reporting.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are an asset.

  • Ramp fast: Within 90 days master global inside sales playbooks BPO governance model and lead qualification standards; establish cadence with three Regional Leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Pipeline impact: Deliver a predictable flow of qualified opportunitieshit quarterly contribution targets and maintain >95% forecast accuracy through disciplined funnel management and conversion optimisation.
  • Scale BPO: Stand up outsourced capacity with measurable ROI. Achieve SLA compliance (speedtolead QA scores) and expand coverage for longtail and surge periods without compromising quality.
  • Operational excellence: Embed standardised processes and dashboards across regions.
