DescriptionThe EMEAi Associate Project Manager works to support the successful delivery of IT initiatives and IT Workstreams if presents inside of Business Project Initiatives. The incumbent will act as a key point of contact for project teams and stakeholders ensuring smooth communication helping to address any issues that arise during the project lifecycle and help collaborate with project stakeholders to coordinate work performed by incumbent will also support compliance efforts as it relates to contractual commitments. The role requires foundational knowledge of IT Technology (Applications i.e. ERP Infrastructure Data ) PM practices (Waterfall/Agile) and methodologies and strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. The incumbent will be responsible for helping the team drive the success of projects and ensuring they have a positive impact on the organization
ResponsibilitiesProject planning:Assist in the development of project plans including defining project scope objectives tasks and resource requirements.
Schedule and timeline management:Monitor project progress against established timelines and schedules ensuring tasks are completed on time.
Documentation:Facilitate communication channels with cross-functional teams and document meeting notes.
Maintain accurate project documentation such as project plans status reports technical specifications and meeting minutes.
- Communication:Facilitate effective communication among project team members stakeholders and other relevant parties. This includes providing regular status updates and in regular progress meetings with IT project team members and track/document all issues andrelevant information
Resource coordination:Help manage and track project resources such as personnel equipment and budget to ensure efficient use and report to senior team members with regular updates.
Assist the team in tracking and preparing reports on project/program progress
Risk management:Help identify track and mitigate potential project risks and roadblocks that could affect project delivery and escalate to senior team members
Quality assurance:Research best practices tools and methodologies for project/program industry news and trends contributing to the research of emerging trends and best practices in projectmanagement methodologies information systems and technologies
Team support:Contribute ideas and suggestions for improvement and innovation in the day-to-day activities of the project/program answer questions and help resolve issues as they arise.
Qualifications- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or Project Management or in lieu of a degree at least 2 years of experience in the field of project management or Information Technology
- 1 - 2 years of experience in project management with a focus on information systems (ideally involving network server or software implementation and upgrades and/or PC deployment)
- Understanding of project management methodologies tools and techniques
- Familiarity in project planning scheduling and budgeting
- Solid communication negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- General knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project JIRA and Confluence
- Solid communication negotiation and problem-solving skills
- A second European language is a nice to have
- Travel Requirements: up to 25%
