Goods-In Operative Chill & Frozen Stock Management

BWG Foods are currently recruiting for a General Operative on a Full-Time Permanent basisbased inValue Centre Galway.

Duties Include:

Replenish the chill and frozen storage areas.

Checking-in chill and frozen deliveries into the Depot.

Ensuring all required paperwork and administration is completed and up to date.

Stock management

Ensuring compliance with all Food Safety and HACCP requirements.

Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Security requirement.

Attend monthly briefings/meetings.

Process stock returns damaged stock and out of date products.

Ensure all areas maintained and clean and tidy at all times.

Assist customers.

Other associated duties as requested by your manager.

Required to operate in various temperature environments: ambient chilled and frozen

Job requirements

The suitable candidate should:

Have good organisational and time management abilities.

Be proactive.

Be a highly motivated individual who takes initiative with minimal supervision.

Have a good working knowledge of HACCP.

Be motivated and enthusiastic.

Be dedicated and flexible.

Have the ability to project a professional image at all times.

Have experience working in a warehouse and/or goods-in environment.

Experience operating a reach forklift along with a current and valid operators certificate is highly desirable

Must be comfortable working in ambient refrigerated and freezer environment
