Responsibilities
- Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly or disabledclients by attending to their basic needs such as showering bathing dressing and eatingand assistwith ambulation
- Medication reminding
- Complete clients shopping/errands
- Perform light homemakingduties
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Observe and report changes in clients condition
Qualifications
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Ability to safely assist with transferwith physical capability to perform job-related duties
- Valid drivers license reliable transportationand current auto insurance
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Available to work different shifts including nights and/or weekends
- Prior experience in a healthcare hospitality or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- Supportive and compassionate
- Have a current CNA license and/or HHA certificate
- Take pride in providing high quality care
