Job Summary
Position Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our client office (Toronto Ontario) at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.
We are looking for a Business Analyst to support digital mortgage origination initiatives. The role focuses on gathering requirements analyzing processes and ensuring solutions meet customer business and regulatory needs.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
.Capture and document requirements for mortgage origination features (applications pre-approvals credit assessment).
.Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
.Collaborate with delivery teams risk and compliance to ensure feasibility and compliance.
.Conduct process analysis and support UAT to validate solutions.
.Facilitate stakeholder workshops and align priorities.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Qualifications & Experience
.57 years of Business Analyst experience in financial services.
.Strong knowledge of mortgage origination and credit risk frameworks.
.Experience in Agile environments (Scrum/SAFe).
.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
.Familiarity with digital self-serve mortgage platforms.
.Exposure to automation/AI in credit decisioning.
.Certifications (CBAP PMI-PBA Agile)
Knowledge in Home financing/Mortgage Processes
Process Analysis and Requirements Gathering
Analysis and Digital Transformation Enablement
