RF Design Engineer - (Malvern PA. On-Site)
RAJANT CORPORATION the 20 year leader in industrial wireless patented Kinetic Mesh networking solutions providing full mobility and autonomous products is looking for a skilled RF Design Engineer to join our Hardware Development team. This individual will need to be energetic self-motivated and intellectually curious determined to uphold Rajants highest level of product quality.
Responsibilities:
Design simulate and implement RF and microwave circuits for commercial and military Wi-Fi applications
Develop RF front-end modules including power amplifiers LNAs filters duplexers switches and matching networks
Design PCB layout for RF performance grounding shielding and EMC compliance
Perform RF system-level analysis including link budget noise figure gain and linearity optimization
Support hardware bring-up testing and debugging of RF subsystems and full wireless products
Work closely with hardware firmware and mechanical teams to optimize antenna integration and overall wireless performance
Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory compliance
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or RF engineering prefer Masters degree
37 years of experience in RF design and development ideally in Wi-Fi cellular or related wireless communication systems
Solid understanding of RF design principles including impedance matching transmission lines and S-parameters
Experience working with Wi-Fi chipsets (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax)
Proficiency using standard RF test equipment; vector network analyzers spectrum analyzers and signal generators
Familiarity of measurement of S-parameters Noise figure Intercept point P1dB EVM PAPR
Familiarity with cascade RF system analysis either with excel or with simulation software
Familiarity with antenna design characterization and integration
Experience with RF simulation tools such as AWR/MWO/VSS/Axiem/Analyst or ADS suite of tools
Familiarity with PCB layout packages Altium Designer preferred
Experience with Python preferred but not mandatory

Location: Rajant Headquarters in Malvern PA. On-site (preferred) Hybrid (negotiable).
8hr shift Mon-Fri. 5 days per week. 9am-5pm.
