Title IV-D of the Social Security Act requires that states establish and operate a state directory of new hires (SDNH). Employers doing business in Montana must report their newly hired employees to the SDNH. Information in the SDNH is matched against participants in the CSSD automated system to locate individuals and/or their employers and submitted to the National Directory of New Hires (NDNH) to match against participants in other states. This position is responsible for collecting entering and maintaining new hire reports submitted by employers in the State of Montana.
