The Opportunity
Databook is looking to fill multiple role openings in their research team in India with the aim of supporting the platform insights and deliverables. The research team in India plays a critical role by offering cross-functional support across organizational processes through the analysis and synthesis of unstructured data and key information thereby enabling the delivery of actionable insights. l information that deliver actionable insights.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Identifying insights (peer groups strategic priorities executive compensation professionals) from investor documents financial statements and internal databases for global companies - publicly listed and private organizations
- Support ongoing product development tasks to enhance platform insights and support internal product operations
- Support the broader team in developing industry insights and uploading industry thought leadership to the platform
- Execute self-verification efforts and perform quality reviews ensuring all activities are error-free and have met project timelines
- Maintain the data fidelity of the platform by regular checks and updates of all data including financial events transcripts professionals and any other updates for organizations across the globe
About You
- 3-4 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor or Masters degree in finance/business with an exceptional academic record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Powerpoint etc.) and Google Workspace (Google Documents Google Sheets Google Slides etc.) would be an added advantage
- Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills; including experience working with matrixed teams
- Strong desire to learn about investor relations documents including Annual/Quarterly Reports Earnings Presentations Company Presentations Proxy Statements and additional documents
- Strong work ethic and commitment to completing work in a timely fashion and to the highest quality demonstrating solid attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take ownership in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to take on additional tasks as may be required
