Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk Virginia is currently hiring a Radiology Manager to work a full time day shift.
Hours
Monday - Friday: Day Shift
This leader will be expected to provide occasional off-hours and weekend support as needed
Flexibility is essential to support the needs of a continuously operating department
Overview
The Radiology Manager oversees MRI CT and Diagnostic Radiology services ensuring high-quality safe and efficient operations around the clock. The role works collaboratively with supervisors and managers overseeing Ultrasound Nuclear Medicine and Mammography. Responsibilities include staffing oversight workflow optimization quality and compliance patient experience equipment utilization and coordination withother hospital departments. The role also participates in strategic planning process improvement initiatives and Sentara-wide operational projects.
Education
Bachelors Level Degree (Required)
Extensive successful management of hospital departments may be substituted in lieu of bachelors degree but in this case a Trade School Graduate in Radiologic Technologywould be required
Certification/Licensure
ARRT ARDMS or CNMT (Required)
Multi modality certification (Preferred)
Experience
5 years of radiology experience (Required)
5 years of supervisory experience (Required)
