About the role
As a (Senior) Business Analyst you will support Global Procurement with analytical insights and the continuous improvement of data structures systems and reporting solutions. You will help enhance our analytics landscape improve data visibility and contribute to implementing innovative and scalable tools.
Working in an international environment you will operate independently while collaborating with stakeholders across multiple geographies and organizational levels.
Your responsibilities
- Support the development of the digital strategy for procurement within systems applications data architecture and opportunities for using GEN AI
- Assess and enhance existing procurement analytical solutions and systems
- Build analytical solutions based on structured data (invoice transactional master data) and qualitative datasets (supplier quality ESG carbon metrics etc.)
- Implement and train the organization on new tools and systems ensuring adoption across regions
- Stay informed about trends in analytics and best practices to influence decisions within your area
- Define system requirements to support improved data visibility KPI measurement and operational efficiency
- Develop robust analytical tools aligned with procurement KPIs
- Support periodic reporting
- Provide ad-hoc analytical support in cost modeling tender preparation negotiation preparation and spend analysis
- Collaborate with category teams finance IT and other stakeholders to enable effective decision-making
- Work effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levelsfrom operational users to managers specialists directors and buyers
Our requirements
- High analytical skills and ability to visualize data clearly
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools especially Excel and advanced Power BI (we work with sophisticated enterprise-level solutions)
- Working knowledge of ERP systems preferably SAP
- Understanding of Business Warehouse concepts (preferably SAP BW)
- Experience with SQL or other database solutions; Snowflake knowledge is beneficial
- Experience in technical writing and designing user-friendly analytical front-end interfaces
- Understanding of procurement tools and methodologies (TCO supplier management linear performance pricing) is beneficial
- Proficient communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders across geographies
- Ability to work independently with initiative and in a remote-collaboration setup
- 4 years of experience in business analytics or analytics solution development
- Professional English (spoken and written)
- Bachelors degree or higher
