Your Role
Our Regional Life/Health Unit is seeking to appoint a dynamic individual as Analytics Actuary for our Asia this role you will be responsible for developing data and advanced analytics processes to support experience monitoring pricing activities and deliver insights that drive business advantage.Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain data assets to ensure accuracy accessibility and consistency
- Develop data strategies and analytics frameworks to support pricing portfolio management and business insights
- Analyze portfolio performance and conduct experience studies to derive best estimates and inform quotations and repricing decisions
- Research and monitor latest development in analytics techniques and assess feasibility of adoption in analytic processes
- Engage actively with the regional Life and Health industry to strengthen Gen Res leadership in research experience monitoring and advanced analytics
- Participate in regional and international initiatives and projects
Your Profile
- Qualified or nearly qualified Actuary with a minimum of 5 years experience in a life insurance or reinsurance environment
- Strong foundation in analytics with advanced programming skills and solid proficiency in SQL
- Proven expertise in actuarial experience analysis
- Fluency in English and Korean (spoken and written) is essential to support Asia market responsibilities including South Korea Taiwan and Hong Kong and to ensure effective stakeholder communication and market-specific analytics
- Self-driven and proactive capable of working independently while being an effective team player
- Actuarial pricing knowledge and familiarity with AI productivity tools are advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness and ability to travel for business as required
