Job Description:
Airbus Public Safety and Security (PSS) an Airbus business unit offers advanced communication and collaboration solutions to gather process and deploy intelligence. Its portfolio is tailored to the needs of Public Safety Defence and Transport Utility and Industry (TUI). It includes infrastructures devices applications and services based on Tetra Tetrapol and Broadband technologies (either single hybrid or multi-technology solutions). The technical team of Airbus in Hungary (TCCE31) is looking for a Field Support Engineer (m/f/d) to join our company in Budapest.
The Field Support Engineer (FSE) is responsible for the TETRA and Agnet telecommunication network/platform support including upgrades and maintenance activities. During the support activities the FSE processes the customer reported technical queries and incidents (Incident Management). Investigation of the incidents is done following the defined support procedures. The FSE also informs the customers and authorized contact persons of the processing status. He is responsible for ensuring that the contractually agreed service levels are met. He initiates Problem Management and provides necessary indications in the case of reproducible system errors.
Detailed tasks:
TETRA and Agnet telecommunication network/platform support including upgrades and maintenance activities.
Implementation commissioning and support the Airbus telecommunication products and software.
Troubleshooting planning upgrades and bringing innovative solutions. The FSE is raising cases to Level3 when needed and therefore is coordinating with our expert center.
Coordinating with our partners and reporting within customer meetings being owner of the cases.
Contributing to and learning from international team support (methodology training lessons learned common tools)
As part of the EOD team the engineer provides on duty service giving 7/24 emergency support to the customers.
Support of testbed customer testing and testbed internal tasks.
Support of pre-sales activities.
Your profile:
Bachelors/Masters degree in Telecommunications or IT engineering
Knowledge of Mobile Communications Systems and Networks both current and future visions & particular knowledge of EPC and LTE
Professional experience in IP networking and firewalls
Hands-on experience with Enterprise Linux distributions virtualization microservices andcontainerization
Professional experience in implementation or support of mobile telecommunications systems(2G 3G 4G TETRA) is an advantage
Process and application knowledge in the use of trouble ticket systems and CRM systems
Able to work independently or in a team
Service and customer oriented have a sense of responsibility
Class B driving license
Fluent Hungarian and good English language skills
A Hungarian security clearance is required for this position or must be issued by the recognized authorities.
