About the role- To support data analytics and insights agenda for Penfolds China- To manage and facilitate NPD projects with cross function teams- To be key point of contact between Penfolds China and the global insights team1Insight & strategyLead all consumer and shopper insights projects with global insights team collaboration clearly articulate insights output and business implications-Play the role of Voice of Consumer and Shopper within organization Lead the development of research briefs that harness diverse data sourcesincluding digital platforms social media and both online and offline channelsto uncover high-quality at the forefront of research innovation by exploring and applying advanced methodologies that unlock deeper consumer emerging consumer trends and translate them into actionable business strategies that drive relevance and with the China Marketing Director to identify gaps in consumer understanding and contribute to the development of the annual Consumer Insights as the consumer insights lead in annual brand planning ensuring that consumer perspectives are embedded throughout strategic decision-making.2Innovation & Data-Driven Consumer ExperienceAdvocate for a seamless and impactful consumer journey identifying opportunities to drive innovation and unlock growth across integrated CRM data and other consumer intelligence sources to uncover actionable insights and recommend strategic enhancements to CRM and interpret detailed market intelligenceincluding social listening and behavioral datato inform tiered market strategies and activation plans tailored to local dynamics.3Data AnalyticsSupport market analytics agenda and drive relevant insights into business decisionsResponsible for internal depletion data analytics to monitor brand performance across channels/customers/sub-brandsWork with finance team to develop value chain for existing and new-to-markets product rangesLead the NPD process from end to end with cross function team support ensure NPD ideas move through GATE process and KPI delivery 4Agencies ManagementBuild clear understanding on key agency strength and weakness in marketResponsible for managing insights output from agency partners Ensuring agency conduct research in a compliant way adherence to responsible research protocol 5SafetyResponsible for complying with company policies procedures and governance including Corporate Social Responsibilities Risk Management and Health & SafetyAbout you: 10 years consumer planning research or brand management experience gained in either market research advertising or digital agencies and/ or on client sideStrong market research competency to ensure the high-quality implementation of projectsApplied data analytics experience across marketing mix and broader awareness of new methodologies and approachStrong understanding of marketing strategy planning competency budgeting and priority settingCapability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and key stakeholdersStrong problem solving and thinking skills and the confidence to try new solutionsExcellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to generate and activate actionable insights into business recommendationsHigh level proficiency with MS Office applications especially Excel and Power Point and experience with statistical software preferred
