Job Summary
Buyer
We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our clients supportive and dynamic team. This is a key role within a fast-paced environment contributing directly to the continued success of the business.
Location: Horsforth Leeds
Salary: 35000 per annum excellent benefits including 23 days annual leave (increasing with service) plus bank holidays a generous company bonus and more.
As a Buyer you will be responsible for managing all pricing requests from the sales department in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage quotations and ensure the best possible pricing is achieved
- Assist with tender submissions
- Review quotations to identify opportunities to utilise stocked products
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers
- Liaise closely with the sales team providing regular updates on quotes and orders
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in a Buyer role (5 years)
- Excellent knowledge of procurement processes
- Strong negotiation skills
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
