Job Description
This role combines system administration development and subject matter expertise focused specifically on the ServiceNow Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD) suite particularly the Onboarding (Lifecycle Events) and Employee Service Center (Core Portal) modules.
The ideal candidate will ensure the platform is configured maintained monitored and continuously improved to enhance HR service delivery and the overall employee experience.
Core Responsibilities & Administration
Platform Health & Maintenance
-Perform routine system administration tasks including managing user accounts roles security access (ACLs) and application scopes specific to HRSD.
-Monitor and troubleshoot integrations.
-End-user Support
-Provide support to end users (e.g. password resets assisting with onboarding case/task issues).
Configuration Management
-Configure and maintain core HRSD components such as HR Profiles Case Management and Knowledge Management workflows.
-Troubleshooting
-Monitor diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the HRSD application integrations and the Employee Service Center.
-Reporting & Analytics
-Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using native ServiceNow reporting and Performance Analytics to provide insights into HR service activity.
-Access Control & Authentication
-Manage user authentication by integrating with identity providers configuring SSO enforcing MFA.
-Conduct routine reviews of all user access roles and permissions to ensure relevance and compliance.
Upgrades & Patches
-Coordinate and execute platform upgrades patches and hotfixes with minimal service disruption:
-Upgrade Readiness Assessment Review release notes assess impacts conflicts and deprecations affecting HRSD applications integrations and the Employee Service Center.
Test Plan Development Design upgrade test plans focusing on critical HR functions such as Lifecycle Events (Onboarding) and Portal functionality.
Regression Testing Execute regression test scripts on cloned sub-production instances to validate both custom and out-of-the-box features.
Fixing & Remediation Identify and resolve script conflicts configuration issues or broken customizations.
Production Upgrade Oversee the production upgrade and apply required post-upgrade fixes.
HR Module Development & Customization
Onboarding / Lifecycle Events
-Design configure and maintain Lifecycle Events and Activity Sets.
-Develop and configure related HR Services and Record Producers.
-Maintain and update Document Templates.
Employee Service Center (Portal)
-Develop and customize the Employee Center Portal using tools such as UI Builder.
-Manage and maintain portal content and functionality.
-Ensure content governance user criteria alignment and personalized experiences.
Core Development
-Maintain develop and customize functionality using platform scripting languages (Business Rules JavaScript Client Scripts UI Policies Script Includes UI Actions).
-Oversee and monitor integrations with other HR systems (REST/SOAP APIs Integration Hub).
Collaboration & Lifecycle
Requirements Gathering
-Collaborate with HR stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
SDLC Best Practices
-Follow the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): requirements analysis design configuration build testing deployment readiness.
Testing
-Create and execute test plans (unit and regression testing).
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
-Deployment
-Implement changes into Production.
Profile
Language Requirements
-Ability to communicate in English (spoken and written) is required as this position involves regular collaboration with colleagues and partners in the United States.
Compliance Requirement
-Due to applicable U.S. Federal Securities laws candidates for this position must undergo enhanced background screening including fingerprint collection by a FINRA-designated third-party vendor.
