Main Responsibilities
Develop and grow product categories including new areas such as Garden Lifestyle and Electrical
Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate competitive terms
Manage stock levels across multiple locations
Support promotional campaigns and digital platform improvements
Contribute to central distribution and supply chain efficiency
Stay up to date with market trends and identify improvement opportunities
Collaborate with colleagues across sales operations logistics and marketing
Travel to branches and suppliers across ROI and NI as required
About You
3 years experience in buying procurement or category management (ideally in building materials or retail)
Strong negotiation analytical and relationship-building skills
Proficient in category management tools and Excel
Organised commercially aware and solutions-focused
Strong communicator and team player with resilience and flexibility
Motivated to deliver targets and continuous improvement
