Job Summary
Nexter Nursery Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and caring qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our growing team in Croydon! This is a temporary agency role with the opportunity to extend or lead to permanent positions within our partner nurseries.
What Youll Do:
- Provide high-quality care and supervision for young children in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
- Create engaging activities that promote childrens development through play and exploration.
- Support the team in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe clean and organised learning space.

Requirements
What Were Looking For:
- A genuine love for working with children and a passion for early years education (experience not always necessary but a willingness to learn is essential).
- One of the following:
- A Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification with Full valid Paediatric First Aid.
- A minimum of 3 months experience working in UK nurseries (which we can reference check).
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Patience enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to child safety and well-being.
- An Enhanced DBS check live on the Update service.

Required Skills:
Requirements (Essential Criteria) Successful candidates must meet the following non-negotiable criteria: Qualification: Level 3 early years education and childcare qualification or equivalent. Experience: Proven experience in working in an Early Year Setting. Knowledge: Detailed knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and a sound understanding of childs development. Leadership Capability: Ability to lead a team of adults effectively. Safeguarding Compliance: This post requires an Enhanced Criminal Records Check (DBS). All candidates must be prepared to disclose any convictions or orders. We require a minimum of 2 references and right to work in the UK.
