What Were Looking For
We are seeking a mid-level PowerPoint Designer who combines strong technical mastery of PowerPoint with solid visual communication fundamentals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented organized comfortable working in a remote agency environment and enjoys both the creative and technical sides of presentation design.
This is a 20-hours-per-week permanent remote contract role with the potential to grow.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
35 years of professional experience in presentation design production design or visual communications within an agency and fast-paced creative environment. You must be comfortable working collaboratively receiving direction iterating quickly and delivering on tight timelines.
Advanced technical skills in Microsoft PowerPoint:
- Deep understanding of master slides themes layouts and color styles
- Strong working knowledge of fonts typography controls and cross-platform compatibility
- Ability to troubleshoot formatting issues and set up clean fully editable PPT files
- Comfortable refining existing decks as well as building new slides from scratch
Strong visual communication fundamentals:
- Ability to apply layout hierarchy spacing color and typography principles
- Comfortable making design decisions to elevate existing slides
- Ability to translate a message or story into clear and visually compelling slides
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite:
- InDesign: prepare and organize internally designed files for clean transfer into PowerPoint
- Illustrator: trace charts and graphs recreate visual elements design icons and convert vector assets for PPT use
- Photoshop: crop adjust retouch or enhance images used within presentations
Other requirements:
Detail-oriented and process-driven
Fluent in English (written & verbal)
Comfortable participating in feedback cycles with internal teams and occasionally clients
Understands their role as part of the production pipeline not a solo designer
Ability to work with creative and technical content
