Assistant Clinical Director / Clinical Director Durham NC
Full-Time On-Site $100000$160000 per year (based on experience incentives)
Autism Center of Excellence is expanding leadership capacity within our Durham clinic and seeking an Assistant Clinical Director or Clinical Director depending on experience. This is a high-impact role overseeing treatment quality clinical team development and family support.
Position Summary

- Setting: 100% in-clinic
- Schedule: MondayFriday
- Employment Type: Full-Time Exempt
- Compensation:
- Assistant Clinical Director: $100000$120000
- Clinical Director: $140000$160000
- (Includes base pay performance incentives)
Key Responsibilities
Assistant Clinical Director Responsibilities
- Support clinical oversight across the Durham clinic
- Coach mentor and supervise BCBAs BCaBAs and RBTs
- Assist with onboarding and professional development
- Participate in scheduling operational coordination and workflow decisions
- Provide clinical support and guidance during escalations
- Contribute to quality assurance and compliance efforts
Clinical Director Responsibilities
- Lead clinic-wide clinical quality integrity and compliance
- Serve as the primary escalation point for clinical decisions
- Oversee assessments treatment planning and documentation standards
- Lead case reviews team meetings and professional development
- Collaborate with leadership on staffing scheduling and expansion planning
- Maintain a reduced billable requirement (15 hrs/week) to support leadership
Qualifications
Required (for both levels):
- Active BCBA certification
- Masters degree in ABA Psychology Education or related field
- Eligible for or holding NC LBA
- Strong leadership presence and communication skills
Experience Guidance:
- Assistant Clinical Director: 3 years BCBA experience supervisory experience preferred
- Clinical Director: 45 years BCBA experience prior leadership required
