This full-time itinerant role provides a meaningful opportunity to work across multiple campuses ensuring student access inclusion and full engagement in their learning journey.

Position Summary:
- Assist staff in adapting instruction to meet student needs.
- Guide best practices in accessibility and communication approaches.
- Collaborate closely with teachers administrators service providers and families.
- Support student academic progress language acquisition and development of self-advocacy skills.
- Promote an inclusive learning environment where DHH students feel supported empowered and acknowledged.
- Provide individualized instruction and communication support using ASL assistive listening tools and personalized learning strategies.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a bachelors degree in Deaf Education Special Education or a related discipline as well as a current Georgia Professional Educator License (PEL) with a DHH endorsement. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are required and proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is a significant advantage. The strongest applicants will have direct experience working with deaf or hard of hearing students in school settings along with a thorough understanding of IEP procedures and the implementation of individualized accommodations that support student access and success in the classroom.
