Following a major expansion Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valleys capacity tripled now housing 171 beds to serve our growing community. As a Neurodiagnostic Technician (EEG Tech) you will conduct electroencephalogram (EEG) tests at Penrose Hospital and St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs. Your primary duties will involve:
- The Neurodiagnostic Technologist I performs procedures according to facility policy and procedures.
- The Neurodiagnostic Technologist I can perform test set up electrode application and maintain patient safety during clinically significant events and other related duties.
- Communication skills are essential for this position.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- BLS issued from the American Heart Association
- 6 months experience working in patient care environment required.
- Enrollment in or graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied
Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program is preferred.
Physical Requirements: Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
