PRN Physical Therapist

Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients physical abilities limitations and functional needs to accurately diagnose impairments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy therapeutic exercises and gait training to improve patients mobility strength balance and pain management.
- Functional Training: Assist patients in developing compensatory strategies adaptive techniques and assistive device training to enhance their independence in activities of daily living.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on proper body mechanics home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies to promote long-term health and well-being.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physicians nurses occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations treatment plans progress notes and discharge summaries.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines including HIPAA and Medicare regulations.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a home health or a related setting.
- Skills: Strong clinical skills excellent communication and interpersonal abilities and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Professionalism: Strong work ethic reliability and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.
