Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Aurora PostgreSQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong database development expertise in PostgreSQL with hands-on experience working on Amazon Aurora (Postgres) and exposure to AWS cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
. Design develop and optimize Aurora PostgreSQL database objects such as tables views functions triggers stored procedures and indexes.
. Perform database performance tuning query optimization and troubleshooting.
. Support migration replication and high availability solutions in Aurora PostgreSQL.
. Collaborate with application developers to design efficient data models and database schemas.
. Implement database best practices for scalability performance and security.
. Monitor maintain and support production Aurora PostgreSQL instances.
. Work closely with DevOps/Cloud teams to integrate Aurora PostgreSQL with AWS services.
Required Skills:
. 46 years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL development and administration.
. Strong knowledge of Aurora PostgreSQL on AWS.
. Proficiency in query tuning and performance optimization.
. Experience with stored procedures functions triggers and data modeling.
. Familiarity with backup restore and disaster recovery strategies.
. Strong understanding of AWS ecosystem related to databases (RDS IAM monitoring tools etc.).
Certifications (Preferred):
. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (mandatory or highly preferred).
