Role Overview
We are looking for a QA Engineer who is passionate about product quality and user experience. You will be responsible for ensuring that Recootys web application is stable reliable and bug-free before every release.
You will work closely with developers product managers and customer success teams to identify issues early and improve overall product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand product requirements workflows and user scenarios
- Create and maintain test cases test plans and test scenarios
- Perform manual testing (functional regression sanity smoke)
- Test web applications APIs and integrations
- Identify document and track bugs using tools like JIRA / GitHub Issues
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
- Validate fixes and perform regression testing before releases
- Ensure high-quality releases across browsers and devices
- Actively participate in sprint planning and release cycles
- Suggest improvements in product usability and testing processes
Automation (Good to Have)
- Basic knowledge of test automation tools (Playwright / Selenium / Cypress)
- Ability to automate repetitive regression test cases
- Understanding of CI/CD testing pipelines is a plus
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 14 years of experience in Manual QA / Software Testing
- Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC
- Experience testing SaaS / web-based applications
- Knowledge of API testing (Postman or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Good communication skills (written & verbal)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
Nice to Have
- Experience in HR Tech / ATS products
- Basic understanding of SQL
- Exposure to performance or security testing
- Experience working in a startup environment
