Job Summary

Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School is a co-educational Catholic School in Launceston catering for Kindergarten - Gr 6 students with an enrolment of approximately 454 students in 2025.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified registered and experienced candidates for the following positions

Teacher Assistant

(Limited Tenure)

25 hours per week

Commencing Monday 2nd February 2026 - Thursday 17th December 2026

As a Teacher Assistant you will:

Provide support to the teachers in the delivery of educational programs to students.
Assist students on an individual or group basis in specific learning areas.
Assist student learning where discretion and judgement is required including providing more individualised approaches and intervention strategies and assisting in identification of learning needs and evaluation of progress.

Collaborative and works well in a busy team environment.
Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
