Building Maintenance Technician

Rate: $20-23/hr

Hours: 7am-3:30pm

Cincinnati OH

Responsibilities:

- Maintain/repair all lighting install bulbs ballasts replace fixtures etc. including upgrading lighting /replace fixtures.

- Emergency lighting inspections and repairs.

- Install new power distribution circuits 120-480V single/multiple phases.

- Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on building exhaust fans.

- Maintain HVAC systems including change filters and minor repairs on office HVAC systems and maintain and repair warehouse heaters.

- Maintain and repair dock and door systems-doors shelters dock levelers.

- Maintain and repair all building plumbing systems restrooms sinks etc.

- Low voltage-install networking cabling and drops pull cat 6 cable and terminate.

- Monthly fire extinguisher inspections.

- Eye wash station inspections and tests.

- Repair/replace damaged wall paneling.

- Maintain electric forklift fleet including water batteries repairing hydraulic leaks cleaning equipment cooling systems and troubleshooting issues calling for service.

- Maintain and repair stretch film machines.

- Maintain and repair air compressor and compressed air system components.

- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies for all building and equipment repairs.

- Office repairs and installs including constructing furniture desks chairs etc. and hang/move/install TVs white boards document holders etc.

- Repair install maintain inspect pallet racking systems.

- Assist in unloading tightly packed containers when warehouse employees need assistance or specialty tools.

- Cross train at local production plants including covering maintenance shifts at those plants as needed and assisting with large projects at local plants such as new equipment installs.

Requirements:

- Comfortable operating a scissor lift and working at heights up to 30

- Comfortable and fluent in working with and around high voltage electricity-480V 3-phase
