This individual is in charge of performing regular maintenance checks and repairs in manufacturing equipment to ensure that production operations run smoothly and efficiently. Their responsibilities include addressing issues and concerns troubleshooting problems conducting inspections performing installations and adjustments maintaining records and replacing or fixing components and tools. Job Responsibilities - Liaise with outside contractors as necessary.
- Install new machinery overhaul equipment and rebuild parts as required.
- Carry out electrical and/or mechanical repairs and inspections as required to ensure equipment runs reliably in production.
- Used schematics and diagrams for troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Performed repair and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Consistently maintain company safety and cleanliness standards in the production environment adhering to OSHA guidelines.
- Assist maintenance personnel with plant maintenance as needed.
- Maintenance/repair of building (utility plumbing HVAC electrical carpentry etc.).
- Monitor safety standards and complete scheduled inspections for all machines.
- Participate in various lean manufacturing activities to improve products reduce waste or learn new skills or operations.
- Prepare project plans and project status reports as required.
- Implement and maintain the Companys electronic asset management and maintenance record keeping system.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Minimum 2-4 years maintenance experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Work within timelines and controlled environments. Must be able to prioritize work orders and be adaptable to changes in priorities
- Effective listening communication (verbal and written) skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced customer-driven change-focused environment
- Good judgment problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Team player who works productively and demonstrates leadership potential
- Demonstrated high integrity and ethical standards
- Valid drivers license as will be required to drive company van
