About the team
You will join Global Information Services (GIS) Husqvarna Groups global IT organization with more than 200 colleagues across the world. GIS ensures that the company has the technology data and security capabilities required to operate efficiently and innovate with confidence.
Within GIS you will be part of the Cyber Information Security Office (CISO) a team responsible for defining and driving Husqvarna Groups overarching cyber security strategy. As Information Security Officer you will work closely with GIS teams IT Sourcing Legal Group Compliance and external partners to ensure that our security controls policies and processes are robust consistent and well-integrated across the organization.
About the role
As Information Security Officer you will play a key role in shaping and maintaining Husqvarna Groups security governance framework. You will own and develop the policies standards and control requirements that secure our enterprise landscape ensuring they are clear up-to-date and aligned with both internal needs and external regulations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining and driving the development of security policies standards and control requirements for Husqvarna Groups internal digital assets.
Ensuring controls have clear ownership and establishing effective follow-up and monitoring processes.
Leading the third-party cybersecurity risk management process including assessments remediation follow-up and collaboration with IT Sourcing and external service providers.
Supporting Procurement and Legal during vendor onboarding and contract evaluations.
Assisting with risk assessments compliance activities and internal/external audit processes.
Providing clear KPIs data-driven insights and structured reporting to the CISO and other stakeholders.
This role sits at the intersection of governance compliance risk and security making it a critical contributor to Husqvarna Groups cyber resilience.
About you
You are a structured analytical and collaborative professional who enjoys creating clarity and consistency in complex environments. You thrive in roles where governance meets execution and you have a strong ability to bring different teams and stakeholders together around shared standards and ways of working.
You combine strong communication skills with an ability to simplify and harmonize making it easier for the organization to understand and adopt security requirements. You are comfortable navigating global structures and are driven by building scalable long-term improvements.
Your skills and background
You bring experience from information security risk management or compliance paired with a strong understanding of industry frameworks such as ISO 27000 NIST and CIS. You have a solid grasp of enterprise security architecture and you excel at organizing documenting and communicating complex information in a clear and actionable way.
You can harmonize and integrate security controls across a diverse organization and you work effectively with both IT and business stakeholders in a global context.
Location
This position can be based at one of our sites in Sweden: Huskvarna Göteborg or Stockholm.
With our hybrid working approach youll have flexibility to work both onsite and remotely. We meet in the office at least 23 days a week (around 50%).
