Position Summary
The Office of the President is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented assistant to support daily operations and strategic initiatives of the universitys executive leadership. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into higher education administration while contributing to meaningful projects that impact the campus community.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support with general administrative tasks may include assisting with:
- Monitor and order office supplies coordinating with vendors as needed
- Assist with travel arrangements expense reports invoicing and purchase requisitions in accordance with university policies and procedures
- Help maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Assist with the scheduling coordination and preparation of meetings and events
- Support planning and logistics for presidential engagements and university events
- Conduct online research and compile data to support ongoing projects and decision-making processes
- Assist in the preparation of reports presentations and briefing materials for senior leadership
- Perform other duties and assist with projects as assigned to support the goals of the Presidents Office
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and internet research
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Self-starter with a professional demeanor and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills and Characteristics:
- Prior administrative support experience

Ideal candidate must be able to work up to 19 hours per week Monday-Friday.
